kshSchedule provides a dynamic World Wide Web based Reservation and Scheduling system. This system allows Web clients to view, create, modify, delete, reserve, and schedule databases of items. These items consist of things which need to be reserved or scheduled such as conference rooms, office equipment, computers, etc.

Almost all of the kshSchedule pages are represented here. All the buttons and links on each page are active and to navigate through the pages, you must use those buttons and links. Some of the pages will require you to input data. The data that you input on these pages is not important, it just requires that you input something. Some of the pages require a frames capable and javascript capable browser. The URL to the beginning page is https://members.tripod.com/~kshschedule/index_2008.html

kshSchedule has been tested and confirmed operational on the following systems:

• AIX 3.2.5
• HP:UX 10.20
• Solaris 2.5.1
• SCO 3.2.4.2

I have had some problems with kshSchedule under RedHat Linux 4.1 which are related to the "sort" command buffer sizes and storage locations. If you plan to install kshSchedule under Linux, it may or may not work for you. You'll just have to try it and see.

kshSchedule is written in Korn shell scripts which makes it portable to virtually any Unix platform and you get the source code. Also, you do not need to maintain any additional, non-standard command interpreters, such as perl, since Korn is shipped as a standard shell with most Unix systems. The Korn shell scripts run as cgi programs on your web server.

I am still working on the documentation but the software is ready to download. You will probably want to save or print the installation instructions first. I ask that you complete the registration form before downloading the software.
