kshMenus provides Web based Menuing, Data Entry, and Web Database Program Generator. This system allows a user to create web based menus and data entry screens. Data is stored in an internal database or sent to a user supplied backend script. System can generate Database programs based on user supplied menu and data entry prompts.

kshMenus has been tested and confirmed operational on the following systems:

• AIX 3.2.5
• HP:UX 10.20
• Solaris 2.5.1
• SCO 3.2.4.2
• Redhat Linux 4.1 with pdksh 5.2

kshMenus is written in Korn shell scripts which makes it portable to virtually any Unix platform and you get the source code. Also, you do not need to maintain any additional, non-standard command interpreters, such as perl, since Korn is shipped as a standard shell with most Unix systems. The Korn shell scripts run as cgi programs on your web server.

Sample screens can be viewed at menulist.html . These screens consist of the program generator which is built using kshMenus. The program generator allows a user to build and customize their own menus, data entry screens, and programs. To navigate through the screens, go to menulist.html then press the "Template" button. From that point just press the desired menu button. User built programs would have a similar look-and-feel.
